Symbolism
The I-beams are of different lengths, they symbolize people from child to adult. They are like the backbone, the connection to the earth. They hold on to the kites firmly
The kites are mounted on spring steel to gently move to the rhythm of the wind
The perforated stars are small and fragile, these symbolize the child’s stay in heaven
