A collaboration project between Berkenbeek, Special Secondary School, Wuustwezel and Sint – Lucas, Art-academy, Kapellen coordinated by Carla Ferilli (2009-2010)
De Kijkdoos is the title of a very special book that is created by young students between 14 and 20 with a diagnosis of ASD (that’s an Auti Spectrum Disorder Syndrome) and adult students from the Multidisciplinary studio of the academy. This project, coordinated and composed by Carla, emerged into a successful book.
The book is bound at Amival, the sheltered workshop of Turnhout where former students of Berkenbeek are employed. 23 Teenage students and 14 adult students worked together to create the art book.
